Junior Rodeo Information

*******NEW RULE CHANGES FOR 2025*******

PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE SIGNING UP

Check in begins at 10 a.m. Daily (under tent)

Junior Rodeo Begins Daily at Noon

  • Western dress code enforced.

  • Contestants and immediate family ONLY may enter through back gate. Free admission for Jr. Rodeo Contestant through the back gate.

  • All contestants must be checked in no later than 11:30 a.m. No late entries will be accepted. After 11:30 a.m. your entry will be forfeited and positions will be filled.

  • NO RE-RIDE OPTIONS, No exceptions (THIS INCLUDES WILD ASS RIDE)

  • Chute draw for all pertinent events.

  • Lead line not allowed in barrel racing.

  • Team Ropers MUST rope with youth partner (18 and under), parent, or grand parent. If you do not have an eligible partner, a partner will be drawn for you. Partner’s must be declared at sign in. Age 5-12 may tie on.

  • Entry fees (cash only) are due at time of check-in. All contestants are required to sign a waiver in order to ride. Please print, sign, and bring the form with you to check-in.

  • Age as of August 30, 2025

  • 2025 Entry Fees:

    • $25

      • Mutton Bustin’ - 50 lbs & under

      • Steer Riding - Ages 12 & under

      • Barrel Racing - Ages 5-12 & 13-16

    • $35

      • Wild Ass Ride - Ages 10-14 - NO RE-RIDES!!!

    • $45

      • Team Roping - Ages 5-12 & 13-16

  • Order of events:

    • Mutton Bustin’, Barrel Racing, Steer Riding (Saturday Only), Team Roping, Wild Ass Ride (first event in the main performance)

  • Buckles to first place winners, awards to second and third place winners every day.
