Have a “Rebound Relationship” with SCCFRA During the Bad Decisions Camp Out at the Lake
Furious that you “Missed the Boat” on camping at the lake with Shannon & Megan during their Bad Decisions weekend August 9-11,2019 @ Patagonia Lake State Park?
All is not lost! Have a rebound relationship with The Santa Cruz County Fair & Rodeo Assn. during their “Sonoita by Storm” weekend.
Sonoita Fairgrounds is partnering with Hops & Vines to provide overflow camping spaces at the Fairgrounds, and a Greyline tours shuttle bus to and from the lake so you can camp and still enjoy all the music, food, and yes,…..all the regrets the weekend will have to offer.
When you arrive safely back at your campsite at the Fairgrounds after your day at the lake, your evening can continue with music from “The Crossroads Band” We will have plenty of brew and plenty of food to keep you satisfied. Check out our local restaurants (within walking distance!)Have fun and leave the driving to us!

Security & Entry
Our camping sites are dry only! First, come first served.
If you wish to park near your friends come as a caravan! We cannot reserve spaces.
Guests will be asked for confirmation of their reservation at the gate. Confirmation can be a printed receipt, or the confirmation on their phone. Guests must provide a legal ID, you will then be provided with a wristband and a parking tag. Please make sure your parking tag is prominently displayed. Your wristband is your pass to the lake and beyond, so do not remove it. You will not be allowed on a bus or back to the fairgrounds without it.
Camping check-in begins 12 noon on Friday, August 9th, check-out must be by 12 noon, Sunday August 11th. Camping spots are first come first served. Sites will vary depending on the size of the camper, car or tent.
The Greyline buses will begin transporting guests to the lake at 8 AM on Saturday August 10th the last bus will leave Patagonia at 8 PM sharp so don’t miss it! We will be serving a pancake breakfast Sunday morning beginning at 8 am until 11 am. We want you fed for the ride home.
Ah yes, every great relationship needs a few rules….
1. No alcohol may be taken off the SCCFRA grounds, no outside alcohol is allowed in.
2. All Guests must be wearing wristbands at all times.
3. The gates will be closed from 10pm until 6am. (Guests can leave fairgrounds on foot to visit local restaurants.)
4. Driving off grounds during event by anyone who is not a designated driver is discouraged.
5. No Drugs allowed. Any guest caught with said substances will be asked to leave without a refund.
6. SCCFRA reserves to right to refuse service to anyone.
7. NO OPEN CAMP FIRES
8.All dogs must be on leash at all times, no exceptions! Please pick up after your pooch, after all he cannot.
